Our delivery and management system is underpinned by four Pou.

Ākonga journey – Te Haerenga

For our Gateway programme ākonga we want to make sure we provide the right programme for the right person, with the right employer. For our workplace based ākonga we want to make sure we provide the programme for the workplace and their development needs. For our jobseekers we aim to provide the personal development, the skillsets and the connections to employers they require.  To ensure this journey is successful we apply the following criteria

  • Is the programme the right fit?
  • Will the programme meet the employer’s needs?
  • Are our ākonga supported through the journey?
  • Do we have the right data?
  • Voice of ngā ākonga

Delivery – Whakaako

We deliver programmes that are workplace based for Gateway and Industry based ākonga or classroom based for jobseekers.  Critical to us is ensuring that what we deliver is relevant and underpinned with strong quality assurance practices in the following areas:

  • Programme development
  • Assessment and moderation practices
  • Evaluation and feedback
  • Our people

Success – Angitūtanga

How do we know what success looks like?  We have a number of measurements in place to provide us with indicators on how we are tracking.  The focus areas for these metrics are:

  • Participation rates and targets relevant to ethnicity, gender and disability
  • Achievement rates and targets relevant to ethnicity, gender and disability
  • Transition to employment from secondary school or jobseeker initiatives
  • Evaluation targets for ākonga, jobseekers, employers, schools and agencies.
  • Review of programme content, resources and delivery
  • Performance reviews and evaluations by and for our people (kaimahi)
